Otherwise, all of Gigahearts' suggestions....Ian knows his shit, so there's that.

Also wouldn't mind trying that EHX flanger hoax
Ha, cheers

As a flanger junkie, you really should get a hoax. People's issues with noise etc are unfounded in my opinion, it's really not that noisy at all. Ok us it's got so many sounds and the thru zero stuff is just orgasmic. Fuzz plus that. Oh my.
Additionally it can be modded in 10 mins to run off a normal 9v DC tip neg supply.

Mutron Flanger. Had one, traced and cloned now. Going to build one soon, Morley enclosure is on stand-by, waiting on the board.

I also have a Son of Storm Tide board. I need to get that built. It's a sick one.

I know it's not a "flanger" per se, but my Tau Pipe Phaser does an awesome job too.

Sure, but I'm more concerned with the trimmers controlling a clock or something that I don't want to mis-bias, so to speak.
Fug it. WCS, it'll give me an excuse to get something else

Just mark off where the trimmers are set before you start.

Your demos of the Mu-Tron and the Tau Pipe are awesome. I definitely wanna get both.

Are the MXR and Electric Mistress similar? All I know is I like the sound of the Electric Mistress a lot, but have never used flange enough to justify buying one.
They don't sound real similar, but to me they are both good "all purpose" flangers.

I think pedal controlled flange is under rated!
If the flanger hoax allowed pedal controlled thru zero that'd be ridiculous....

And I just got some mod ideas!
Agreed on all accounts!!! I just wish it wasn't soooo expensive.... :mope:

Mod ideas for a flanger hoax?? Plz keep us informed!

That's everyone's favorite everything it seems. Still trying to figure mine out.
If you've got any questions feel free to ask - I just ordered a second one!!
Wow, thanks guys! That's going to keep me busy for a few days. I didn't think the Cosmichorus would be able to make such a believable flanger sound.

Nothing exciting. One made no audible difference that I could detect, while the other lessened the depth & added noise. Dirty flange.

Dirty flange.

That could be a new genre.

No one else likes HBE Frostbite? I know it's a replica of A/DA, but still. It's awesome for crazy sweeps and playing with fuzz and that's what I'm after. Mr. Black Tunnelworm is still on my wishlist, I can easily see myself with two flangers on a board.

I feel like an expression pedal out should be mandatory on all modulation pedals.

I guess not in Obama's America.
