Is "Bob Loblaw" Jamie's username on TGP? Because that's who posted this:
So this wasn't really ready to be seen yet :facepalm Some guys came by to check out the shop, snapped a photo and put it up on instagram without really knowing they shouldn't do that. We don't have anything written up for it yet and production hasn't even started. We'll have some info and videos up soon enough. It's not a multiband distortion but it is a very versatile version of something I said we would never do
I'm definitely intrigued. It sure looks like a multiband distortion.
What did they say they would never do? If it wasn't for the lack of EQ, I would say preamp. Well, I already said preamp. Maybe the "voice" and "bandwidth" in conjunction with the tone acts as an eq? That doesn't seem as useful as just having eq controls. Hmm.

Yeah trying to think what it could be, interesting it seems to have two gain stages (one always active) but only one tone control. A type of EQ/preamp was the first thing i thought of too (akin to the empress paraeq w/boost, with a different take on the paraEQ stuff), the other was the WMD geiger counter which is so unwieldy a simplier idea would be brilliant.
