I don't think so man, I see only one footswitch and three jack inputs / outputs, I'm guessing the third one is either for expression control or it's a dry / stereo out.
In my 2 cents it seems to be pretty expensive for what it is.

Yep, same here.
It doesn't even seem to have a tap in.
Fuck it, I knew that already so I wasn't even interested in the first place and at that price point, forget about it.

I like delays without tap tempo - the fact that the delay is not synced with the beat allows the delay to stand out more. And washy stuff doesn't really have a strong beat so it doesn't matter if its synced or not.
I think the price is good for what it is.

I agree. It sounds as lush as the EA delay, and that random modulation is really sick. Not to mention, with the filter rolled up it sounds like some very good tapey delays. The compressor circuit is what sold it for me.goroth wrote:I like delays without tap tempo - the fact that the delay is not synced with the beat allows the delay to stand out more. Although, a video demo needs to be done!

Re: Fairfield is working on something new!!!
True, I guess a demo video would be good, the sound samples don't do it for me or at least I can't really get a grasp of the compressor circuit working on the delay much and I don't really seem to like the random modulation on it (on the Meet Maude it seems to give a bit of a seasick vibe, the random modulation on the Moog MF104M is awesome though).
Wasn't it you hazelwould who did the video with the compressor after the delay?
That shit was awesome!
I know what you mean goroth with the non sync delay and all but that's also really easy to set up on my DMM550TT, I guess I just love it too much to even really consider something else and the price is about the same as the Meet Maude if I'm not mistaken.

But i'm still in the market for a nice tap Tempo Delay.
@goroth: both of my drummers hate unsynced stuff. If it wasn't me, they would grill me.

And we know it's grill season (or close anyway), better to stay away from your valve amp, we don't want a grilled uni!
You should really give the DMM550TT a whirl man, I'll bring it next time, apart from the Moog MF104M I haven't seen or heard a better analog tap tempo delay with better features yet.

Re: Fairfield is working on something new!!!
We definitely need more tap-tempo delays. I know there are quite a few to choose between, but I still have yet to find the perfect delay. The DMMTT1100 was almost there, but now it's discontinued. I could probably settle with the 550 version, but yeah. I don't care if it's digital, we just need guys like Subdecay making tap-tempo delays with amazing features and quality sound.univalve wrote:Yeah!Tristan wrote:Yep, same here.

The JHS Panther was, funnily enough, close as well, but I'd rather avoid JHS.

Uni - I hear you. I just don't use delay rhythmically so our drummer doesn't care. Tremolo though...

Re: Fairfield is working on something new!!!
Drummers i've played with were all OK with non-tap delays
not with loopers, that needs a whole new level of precision
Anyway... I have realized that taps are not the cure for every problem once I played a song and I needed to tap the shit almost constantly because of the tiny changes in tempo

I never use tap tempo.

Re: Fairfield is working on something new!!!
This is why pedals with midi are so damned handy. Eventide, Moog, Strymon, it's brilliant. I never really worried about tapping tremolo so precisely that it HAS to be in synch all throughout the song, because most of the tremolo I use is more subtle and 'in the groove', which is to say it doesn't matter if it goes out because it's all gravy. But still, tap is just so important for me. Not necessarily accuracy, but more just for ease of use.DarkAxel wrote:Drummers i've played with were all with non-tap delays
