In my semi-professional opinion, instagram/twitter are for immediate communiques.
Like if you're using some weird method to get a sound, instagram that shite.
Facebook is more for a social presence, so people can talk with you on a not "ZOMGZ I'LL DIE IF I DON'T HERE BACK IMMEDIATELY" setting.
Websites are for core info/data like band bio/discography/ some tunes. Basically, wikipedia with a background.
