Normal people guitars feel like Guitar Hero controllers on me. The extended scale, oversized SG will likely fit me. Its basically a scaled back SG model of the Buckethead LP.
Wish I could buy a couple of them but them Gibsons ain't inexpensive. And there's also pedals to buy.
The SG isn't extended scale, still 24.75" only with 2 extra frets that extend into the body, butting up to the neck pickup. Body size and overall dimensions are standard.
The Buckethead LP is truly huge and oversized in every way.
I quite like their 'FUCK YOU GOVERNMENT' colour, and I've always wanted a Flying V.
Still, the way they've advertised their new line-up... I still can't get over how sad it looks. I know we've bitched to death, but neither I or it are dead yet.
Yes. the extended scale and oversize body make for fitting me. While Gibson has done baritones in the past (Les Paul and Explorer that I'm aware of), the body size is usually left unchanged. One of the reasons Idon't GAS for instruments much is because they all tend to be small, even if they have 27" or greater scales. Makes me sad.
