The standard at my house (settled on long ago through lots of trial and error) is pepperoni, spinach, tomato and banana peppers.
However, there's a place down the street that makes them new-fangled funky "gourmet" pizzas - they make a mighty nice BBQ chicken pizza (w/Gouda cheese, roasted red onion, chicken & BBQ sauce) as well as a Buffalo chicken pizza. When we've got folks over, we'll get our standard and one of those chicken pizzas (sometimes a half n' half if we're feeling particularly spunky).
My fave is black olives and red bell pepper. I also like pesto as a sauce and or topping. My fave at the local BEST pizza dive is feta, olives, tomato and spinach, it the only no-sauce pizza I've ever liked, it's called "The Greek"
Mushroom + pepperoni Sweet and spicy sausage + mushroom Garlic + basil + fresh tomato Pesto + onions + pine nuts + sun dried tomato + chicken Chicken + Cilantro jalepeno pesto + sun dried tomato + any peppers I can get my hands on
Always with loads of oregano and crushed red pepper.
And one of my favorites fresh guacamole + pico de gallo + sour cream + chicken
i like plain cheese (not extra cheese though) pepperoni is ok i really enj0y green peppers or jalapenos if im feeling i can handle em
but green peppers is great
i used to work at a lame italian restaraunt washing dishes and sometimes i got to make myself a pizza when the own lady wsnt around. id make a real real thin crust, light sauce, one large finely diced jalapeno pepper is spread evening UNDER the cheese, and just use thin layer of cheese. i hate thick cheese. anyways, it was so good and jsut enough spice to make my nose run without bumming me out. miss that pizza.
i like spinach on pizza. there is this NY-style pizza place down here that does that really well.
i've never had black olives on pizza & i always kind of hated mushrooms on pizza but i LOVE portabello mushrooms so i am wondering w/ p-mushrooms, spinach, black olives & onions would taste like.
also. i, um, HATE cheese. but i love pizza. i mean i'm cool w/ mozzarella obviously but when i get a calzone i have to get it w/o Feta.
