Verellen' wau wau

Saw helms alee last night, and Ben was using a wau wau that he said he modded a bit. I didn't get the opportunity to pry further.

Anyone have knowledge of his mod (s) or the opportunity to ask? I have never been so impressed with a live fuzz sound, and he had several different sounds coming from that pedal that were amazing.
