Yeah I've been interested in it too. I dunno why, I am, but it seems like it is good at what it does. Might have to go to a shop and try one out

Yah, the Minifooger.
Primarily interested in it because of the shape control. I think I'd like a relatively simple tremolo pedal with some control over the waveform. Seems like most trems with this feature have way too many other added features that I don't want or need. Control over tone would be pretty useful as well.

Trem is something so simple that I don't understand it being so fleshed out.
