But, as amorphous mentioned (nice 215 by the way dude), that is a great prognosis, and as everyone else said (and you know anyway, working in health) DO THE PHYSIO AND YOU'LL BE FINE.
Cheering for you dude. I want to hear more Dead Hand, not hear about more dead hand.

Phasers: I love phasers, I've currently got a 90, but I'm gonna off it soon cause I just prefer vibe. And I need some cash. I really like the 90, It's nice and syrupy. It just sounds too cheesy jet plane swoosh after dirt. As DoS mentioned though, cleans.....mmmmm.
Try it before dirt before you ditch it. Phase 90s aren't for me, but when I was only running one amp I always kept my Whetstone before dirt to avoid swooshy douchebaggery. If that doesn't fix it then maybe look at getting another kind of phaser - I would definitely recommend checking out a Sibling or Whetstone since they can cop vibey tones pretty well.

And this sexy bastard showed up yesterday. But my daughter was asleep, so I can't play it until this afternoon when I get home from work. Pretty pumped since I've always wanted one of the stealth Pharaohs, and my old one didn't have the GE mode.

nice one mate!

I have a Sibling...and to be honest, that thing does absolutely nothing before Dirt...even after dirt its not as pronounced as other phasers, but it is nice. It also can do Vibe tones.

I'm up bright and early because I have an interview that I feel like I should be awake, coffee'd and slightly prepared for.

After that interview I'm eating breakfast then using the rest of my day to enjoy getting riffed out. Will be trying the phase 90 before and after dirty. Might do the r28 mod, too. Anybody fucked with that at all? I'll probably check out the ol' youtube videos to see how it is.

I need an amp. That being said after I hock some pedals i'll have about $400. SO i'm going to end up buying a head and waiting around for a cab.

Locally there is a peavey butcher and a peavey vtm60 (which i'd rather have the 120..maybe someone can help here?). There is also an acoustic 370 for sale/trade which i may be able to trade with the guy. Does the acoustic sound good with guitar? I know it's a bass amp.

I need something loud and heavy. I plan on using my rat/pharaoh into whatever I get.

I think the Butcher will be real nice for you. It's very similar to a VTM120 without the toggles from what I know, and I think one or both the guitarists in Black Breath use Butchers.

I played a show once with a band that the guitarist used a vtm 60. It was plenty loud but still I think I'd pass and go for the butcher. The guy playing the vtm didn't use cleans so I'm not sure that there would be enough headroom with 60 watts. The dirt tones sounded like Damad though which fucking ruled.

Also, I liked my phasers before dirt too. Sounded better that way.

Any ideas for the Acoustic 370? This seems like it would be easier to get.

The phase 90 sounded way better before dirt. When I hit it with the signal in the post-dirt section it was waaaaaaay too mid boosted and then distorted. I know the r28 mode will solve that but I'm not sure I'm set on it. The one demo I listened to was night and day different. But I had a sound I liked with it so I'm not sure how much trifling I'd be interested in doing.

I never tried the r28 mod when I had one. Thought about it but never got around to it. I'm not positive but I think it is kinda like the c6 mod on an SD1 where you just clip it out of the way. Don't hold me to it but when I was looking into it I remember it being really simple. If it is, it should be easily reversed if you don't like it.
