Castledine Standard Wah (+ fuzz!)

Been enjoying the wah talk so I thought I'd post these quick and dirty samples I recorded yesterday after I threw the Castledine Standard Wah PCB into my Vox V847. The PCB has a built-in output buffer, which makes it particularly friendly on fuzz. Low-tech recording, straight into the built-in mic of an iPad lying on the floor.
Here's the setup:

AV 65 Jazzmaster into a Vox AC4TV amp, using the Standard Wah and a bunch of fuzz, although I only recorded it with the jerms FZ-1 (Vonetta McGee) and the Jimmy Behan Mk I (Old Yella).

First, the wah on its own:



Next, the wah into the FZ-1. Really love this sound - the FZ-1 is dialled in nice and splatty and retains all its character with the buffered wah:
