Polytune Mini - Is everyone elses 3 square inches of shite?

Post by FlyingVFanatic »

Not trying to hate on it or anything, but i have one, and it makes SOOOOO much noise when i try to tune with it in my rig, and at my bands gig last thursday it cut out for no reason, mid song >.> I had to quickly check every connection, and there was none loose, as soon as i touch the tuner, everything comes back on.....

And since im here, any advice on what i should replace it with if its not a super simple fix?

That's how we roll down these parts bro. Speedy service, like the Ghostbusters.

Is it way over warranty? I've read TC has really good customer service, maybe hit 'em up just for kicks, see what they offer.

Mine has always been kewl. I end up turning it on a lot on accident without realizing it. That's like the one pedal that I'd rather not have soft touch switching

Yeah, i used to have that issue too.... But now it sits about 4 feet from my other pedals :P

Seems they normally have issues with daisy chains, but not to the same level as mine.... Nor are they usually as weird in tuning as mines... By that i mean, when i do individual notes, and then the poly tune part, i get very different responses as to whether strings are tunes or not.... And its not on the wrong setting :P

So basically mines has been buggered for ages, without me realising :P weeeeeee

I have mine daisy chained with 7 other pedals, no issues
I don't trust the polytune part though; it just seems much more accurate to actually tune them all individually, and I really don't think you save time by tuning them at the same time
