So I really haven't had too much time with them yet but man the first impressions are great!

The Buzzz is heavy; sooo much low end! And so many options. I haven't even scratched the surface yet. It's not at all what I was expecting, but it's amazing!
Also, Brian there's four switches on my Buzzz?
I know one is the gain modifier, one is the oct/tone, and one changes the footswitch, but what's the fourth? I haven't actually sat down with it to try and figure it out yet

The TAFM is exactly what I was looking for. I've mostly been playing it with the gate switch on and the shape pretty much maxed out.
Was just reading over the website a bit more on it and super curious to try out the phase cancellation stuff
I think I'll go over some of the settings threads to get better acquainted with it

When some of my final projects are finished I'll put together a few demos.
I still haven't even tried them out on the Drone Commander, which is half the reason I wanted them

The bottom left switch on the buzzz goes between germanium and silicon clipping diodes :thumb:

Ah I had no idea that was in there!
That's sweet, thanks for the info

And demos are taking awhile to make
There's just so much to learn about each pedal and I want to try to cover as much as I can.
I started taking some clips of settings that I really like though

Some clips:

This one is for Brian. Arpanoid madness going into Buzzz and TAFM.
Pedals I used were Ghost Echo > Arpanoid > TAFM > Buzzz > Fuck > Dispatch Master. "Clean" signal was Ghost Echo > Fuck and you should hear/see when the others come in
Note, RIDICULOUSLY fun messing with the trem bar and the Arpanoid!

This one I was just noodling around on the guitar and like the setting on the TAFM:

Starting to definitely think I'm going to keep the TAFM on my guitar board and the Buzzz on my drone board.
That being said, I really need to try them both out on my drone board still!

That first demo was really cool but the level was reaaaaally low, was hard to hear very well.
And the second one is only 4 seconds long? :?:

.....uh I don't even know what happened there
Definitely uploaded a two minute video
I was messing around with YouTube's editing and must have messed something up

I'll try to reupload them with some better sound/proper video I guess

Better clip of the Buzzz:

Computer speakers DO NOT give this justice
Listen on headphones or good speakers
So much low end!
Most of the clip is Ghost Echo > Buzzz > Fuck > Dispatch Master but the Arpanoid and TAFM make an appearance too

Gah! I'm so torn between the Buzzz and TAFM. I have neither the finances or space to get both. Do you play bass? Having played both, which do you think is best for bass? You said the buzzz has massive lows, and that's what I'm looking for ATM: a big angry fuzz with no low end loss. The octave is just icing. But I know the TAFM is something of a classic around here. Such a tough choice!

I haven't tried either on bass yet but I know that Brian originally designed the TAFM for his bassist and it works well on bass because of the clean blend (which I really like on the guitar)
And I know I was horribly torn too. I had a bunch of money saved up though so I just said screw it and got both
I'll try to put some clips together on the bass
I only have my shitty little bass practice amp here though
I'll see what I can do

Finally plugged my Drone Commander into the TAFM and Buzzz:

Original signal is DC to TAFM and delay then you can probably make out the rest.
Again it's best to listen on some headphones or something because the Buzzz just goes so low, especially paired with the Pitch Bay.
I was a little afraid for my amp.

Here's a little progression that I was messing around with today that shows off the TAFM nicely:

I think I've definitely decided to keep the Buzzz on my drone board and the TAFM on the guitar board. They both fit so well there

I don't have a buzzz but i have what is effectively a proto-prototype of it that Brian built me ages ago. It's my favorite fuzz of all time. It definitely needs the clean blend it has, but with and without it there is a weird heaviness there - some subharmonics/lower octave stuff going on, much more pronounced than other octave fuzzes I've used. It's awesome. I can record some new clips if that helps you.

As for the TAFM, it was heavy as all hell, too dark and slow with my bass amp tho, loved it on guitar however
