I just got the ric this october.. haven't played it much yet.
but it's going to be perfect for recording, as soon as i start recording the bass parts.

New frankenstein: Sound'O'dyne
Ibanez Soundgear neck / tuners [$45]
Ibanez Ergodyne body / bridge [$16 body, $10 bridge]
Bartolini pickups [ $$$ don't ask :( ]
Hipshot knobs

Controls: 2 stacked volume/tone, 2 3 way coil switches: middle = humbucking, up neck coil, down bridge coil.

That's kind'a the beauty of add ball stuff, if no one knows what neck will fit on a body most peaople other then re-sellers [ :grumpy: ] will bid on it :thumb:

The whole thing about frankensteining is patience, you have to wait sometimes months for the right part to come along, and at a price you are willing to pay for it.
