The grey cap on one of my knobs came off, so I can't tell how I have that particular knob set. It seems like this is pretty common. Anyway, I want to replace it with some other knob, but GOD DAMN, it does not want to come off. Is there some trick to removing these things? I don't want to accidentally damage the pot by trying to force it off.
