You're all starting to make me feel like the crazy uncle who wants to sit you down and tell you about guns, liberty, and the Tea Party.

Tool does not suck, bros. They are rad.

Can we have this represented on a scale that runs from "Receiving blow jobs from an enthusiastic volunteer" to "Forced to give blow jobs against your will"?

Rad is such a subjective indicator for this sort of scale though.
Universality, dude.

i ate two bowls of cereal last night
and immediately went out for a smoke
had a profound realization
what a quick way to shave minutes off my life

i have a kind of fun riddle for yous to help me solve
my girls nephew is lettin me hang on to his MIM strat
i keep it tuned to E stan to mess around on ultimate guitar
but it never gets plugged in
its just a boring black with white pickguard
it does have a fake and/or unauthenticated eric clapton autograph on it
so this kid will probably never ask for it back
but i still dont feel ok ripping it apart or selling it
i figure one day hell need some loot and ill sell it for him
what i was thinkin in the meantime
get a loaded pickguard,or put one together
any ideas for pickups that rule in a strat
i still havent tried p90s,so thats where im leaning
get an HH pickguard and a couple hb size gfs 90s of some sort
any ideas,or if you have a pickguard, loaded or not, let me know
it just seems so sad only learning cure songs at 4am once a month
id take pics but you know what it looks like

ed: this is one of them real cheap projects
dust covered freebie parts welcome

A friend of my guitarist just gave me his turbo rat to fix up. The pots are scratchy and I need to replace the output jack. I was also thinking of adding a switch to change the diodes out and maybe make it more bass friendly since the friend is playing bass in a band right now. I don't think his has the LM 308 chip though.

I got my package with the truss rod wrench too, so my tele should be in working order soon.

I also stumbled upon this band on reddit or my facebook feed, pretty good so far: siouxtheband.bandcamp.com/album/the-one-and-the-many

Black Forest may be replacing the Elements for what I been using it for. Stackin' and boostin'. Sounds sooooo good.

BF + Pharaoh has been a consistent combo on my board (via Coven) for a while

Yeah Pharaoh + BF sounded fantastic in the short time I fiddled around with it, but most of all the Black Forest > DLSMkII was giving me very close to the distortion sound in my head
