Re: POST (A) FLATTERING PICTURE(S) OF YOUR RECORD COLLECTION
It's perfect for records. And the best part about the Ikea shelves, and coffee tables for matter, they are so cheap they're practically disposable. We've had like the coffee tables since my son was born six years ago. They grrr fuct to a point and we get another.
We just started collecting about two years ago so I have a couple slots open so I have books in those spots. If I remember correct I'm half full. But yeah Ikea shelf= awesome.

That picture of Marcs collection doesn't really do justice. It is HUGE in person. Kind of intimidating.

Here's mine... same Ikea shelf!
Speaking of which, if you are interested in that line of shelving (Expedit) they are discontinuing it. I was there last week and they are in "what we have is what we'll get" mode with that shelving.

Yeah... I'm not much of a doom guy <ducks for cover from thrown items> so my collection is a pretty decently rounded mix of rock, jazz, bluegrass, classic rock, etc. A good mix of modern and older stuff. The 2 albums that have been getting the most play recently have been a Lester Flatt live album and The Rosebuds "Life Like".

Thanks. There are two others in that same room that my wife had picked up for me.

Don't have a pic of my collection but it would be unimpressive since they are in a few wine crates in the corner. I wanna get a nice shelf for them soon like the one bongoben posted. That setup looks pretty sweet. I do have a pic of my last vinyl score though.

Was this directed towards me? Which covers did you want to see? I should also add that the new Beck album has been getting a ton of play recently. It's just so good.

LOVE that Steadman print.
My small collection is on an Expedit 2x2, easily the most awesome way to store vinyl.
