Its different for sure, took me awhile to wrap my head around it to fit my goals. With guitar I like getting a sequence going with wide sweeps and long feedback and playing against that. And the 2 step arpeggios are fun for atmospherics. It's a different experience using it with a synth/oscillator etc where you can make real time adjustments. Guess that figures considering what else they build.

Say, did you ever get the disaster transport sr? Are you diggin it, seems very interesting.

That's good to hear, I really like my disaster transport but it's been eclipsed by the jhs panther in regards to every parameter.

Soon....very soon.

Here's the raptio pretty much right out of the box. Has controls for dry and wet volume, and a toggle between chop and hold. The dial takes it from slow chop to speedy chop, but I'm not sure what it does exactly in hold mode. It does something, I can hear it when I turn it between extremes but I'm not sure what quite yet.
Hope you enjoy!

Neat. On the Raptio, Is it the Strymon style soft switch or the standard clicky one?

It's a soft switch momentary.

Nice demo. It's a pedal that I keep finding a use for here and there. Sometimes to do something unexpected to a track, other times building a whole piece around the stutter. Seems like you had the wet at about half for a lot of this. I seem to be going almost all wet just to maximize the machine feel, [insert twss] but I really dig how you were using it to play over a texture.

Thanks, that was a real feeling it out demo. I love that there is a wet dry volume, and that you can play over the held/glitch note. I see a lot of potential in that alone. I just made a couple more short demos of some ideas for using the modes. I still don't know how the rate knob affects hold mode other than the cool phasing sound when I turn it back and forth :idk: Anyways, thanks again :thumb:

I'm really digging this thing over the random sounding Possessed behavior.

Yeah, there's not too much overlap between the two. The more time I spend with the possessed the more predictable it has become but it still has an element of randomness that keep it exciting. I'm looking forward to stacking the two, and finding if one way sounds better than the other. In my mind both ways are going to sound awesome.

Mannn I really don't need more gas but your demos of the Raptio sounds amazing
I like the idea of a momentary pedal for just pure sonic mayham
Where do you order MASF pedals from though, or am I just missing something on their site?

Tone Factor has them.

Tone factor. It's turning into a pretty versatile pedal the more I play with it. The independent volume controls are killer, it's cool to turn up the dry signal and play over a held glitch/tremolo or frozen chord. I didn't know what to expect but love the possessed and osc03 so much I just went for it....turns out I really like it. The harmonic content of some freeze sound is so awesome I wish I could have an on/off switch  This pedal is going to work out great on my table top set ups.
