So, I bought this to wire up one of my 412s (loaded with 16 ohm V30s), but I have no idea how to do it. I am an idiot when it comes to wiring/schematics. Someone want to explain how to make this work like I want it to? Also, how is it possible that one jack is for both 8 ohm stereo and 4 ohm mono? CONFUSED.

I might be wrong but maybe the 4 ohm mono only works at 8 ohms (two 16 ohm speakers?) if there's another load in the 8 ohm stereo right input. And someone else correct me if I'm wrong here, but if you're running one amp, you'll run it out of the 4 ohm input I thiiiiink?

Ahhhhh, sweet. How do I wire up the two pairs in the cab? That's the last bit o the puzzle. Sorry I'm bad at this!

You have two 16 ohm speakers so you will want to wire each pair in parallel so that the pos and neg from the diagram go to each speaker. +Y -Y The bottom of the Y's would go to where the diagram leaves off, and the top to it's respective connection on the speaker. This will give you your 8ohm load. Someone correct me if I went lysdexic on this again. It's been known to happen

Man what a long weekend.... Missed so much stuff on here so I'll summarize.

Tele - ABSOLUTELY love my esquire; the neck, the tone, just everything is awesome. If it wasn't for my Monson being a step above, it would still be my main guitar.

CosPlay -

Matamp - Conky, great tone but as mentioned questionable reliability. Get more deetz if you can and report back. Plus what would be wanting in trade? If its the Soldano I'd say no immediately.


Hopefully picking up a PA and E-Drum kit this weekend. Time to become a one man band.

Hmmmm its got a mids knob. Nick usually says to stay away from those, but I believe that the models with the mids knob is when they started the new era of building and the quality increased. BUT I'm not positive on that.
