favorite wah offshoot- list favorite rare or weird wahs?

Post by joegagan »

i will list mine in small doses,

starting with a not- so -rare, but rarely talked about wah - the 70s thomas stereo fuzz wah. cmae in either vox or crybaby guise. seems to be a 74 to 76 thing.
i recently serviced and sold one, and was surpirsed how cool the two amp function worked. i did not make a stero vid, but below i linked to one that shows it clearly ( listen in stereo)

the way the pedal pans can be even furthered by EQ'ing the two amps quite different from each other for an even more intense panning, very trippy!

the fuzz is garden variety 70s Si fuzzface based, very usable on its own too. thick/biting and sustainy.

what are your favorite rare wah gems, the weirder the better!-----

Very nice, Joe.

I'd imagine you've heard more wahs than most.
