What's the current draw on this thing? It seems like a nice Swiss Army Knife type thing I could slot into my board, but it'd probably have to be daisy chained.

1.21 gigawatts is obviously the required power consumption.
Run it at 9V = 134 million amps. Give or take.

I know pre-orders were mentioned, can you expand on that a little? The reason being, recently my PC went boobies-up and I had to build a new one—and of course with parts I couldn't technically afford—so I don't have $270 at the moment. But I REALLY don't want to miss out on the acid finish, so could I pre-order and pay the rest as soon as I can? You can then build it and ship it out to me. The problem is, I don't know when I'd have the money! :picard: What can we do, Ryan? I don't want to miss out on this run.

Hey dude! Even if for some reason this sells out before you can get one, ILF peps are notorious for flips! LOL! I know you'll be able to snag one.

Another option is that Ryan and I have talked about doing a laser etch run at some point. It will look the same or I could even do different graphics. That's undecided, but it'll be killer.

Send Ryan a pizza. :)

I didn't want to but if it comes to it I guess I could buy a used one. I'm not against used pedals or anything like that, I just wanted to support Ryan and co. directly.

That laser etching thing sounds awesome! And I COULD send Ryan a pizza, but something tells me won't like his pizza's covered in mould.

Sweet, I love that new logo. I have another old school Dr. S shirt with the Robots on it, kinda like that on the Frazz. Love that shirt.

Hey Ryan, can I get one of the new shirts even though I'm not taking part in tbe BitQuest preorder? Money's a little tight for buying pedals right now but I'd love a new shirt!

Sorry for my absence the last few days, just been working! The t-shirts should be here Friday, pcbs ordered Monday, boxes here by Monday, got half the parts rounded up... it's trucking along a-ok! Soon as the pcbs arrive I'm gonna do a marathon for a few days and make all 50 while watching Dark Souls 2 on YouTube.. gonna be awesome.

jwar wrote:Ryan, can I have a T too??? I forgot to ask about that! SUPER PUMPED!!!!!!

Heck yeah, you and Jeff get shirts with your BQs!

Tom you're in, thank you very muchski budski!

I haven't measured that yet, been meaning to.. it's gonna be around 75mA I predict. I'd also predict that the BQ might not be a great candidate for daisy chaining as it's digital, actually has 2 micros inside of it, tons of timing signals.. daisy chain with caution.

I could use a guy with this kind of technical knowledge... you're hired, Matt! Pizza for dinner ok? (you have to live here, everybody that works for Dr. Sci lives here, it's the only way)

Absolutely Danny, you can do a deposit and save yourself a BQ, no problemo! Shoot me an email and we can make a plan, I'm easy! *smile*

Please! Remember that song Send Me An Angel? No! Send me a pizza! I should have done this pre-order based on pizza payments...

Cool Shannon! We only did a few like that with the t-shirt press.. that was an idea that didn't really fly, t-shirt pressing.

Sure you can!

OK guys, we're halfway through the pre-order, still have 25 available, probably gonna move it to FaceBook this weekend to finish it up.

Fire away if you have any questions or anything and I'll show y'all a t-shirt pic soon!

Got to ask, how are you doing shirt sizes? I can't believe I'm even asking this question on a site for music equipment....can't wait to hold up in the studio when the new pedal arrives.

Oh yeah, I most def remember hearing that song for the very first time in the '80's BMX film classic "Rad".

Also lol, pizza payments. Would Tanya approve? Does she love the pizza pie as dearly as you Ryan? I want some pizza right now honestly...

Ok, I'll run it by the family and pick up some plane tickets on the way home from work.
