My wife calls an entire side of our living room 'my corner'
I sit indian style for hours in front of my amps and pedals just zoning out playing stuff over and over and over again

When I first learned about shrine building in my folklore class I had this weird epiphany about a parallel between gear and shrines. Ever since I tend to think of the time I spend practicing kneeling in front of my amp and pedals not only as just practicing, but also as a form of sound worship.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who does this kind of thing. I've spent a lot of evenings zoning out to my own drones.

I'm guilty of doing this too... sometimes I just kneel in front of my setup for an hour having a blast with the fb loop and everything. It really is kinda like sound worship. LET'S START A CHURCH, GUYS! There are only benefits... We could make awesome gear and not pay taxes, because it's our churches believe that you only get absolution with toanz.
