I have one class a day for 4 hours with the same 10 5 days a week and as much as I like some of those people, it's alot of time to spend with them.

Every time I hear the doppler of a plane going by, I'm convinced it's a bomb dropping on my random town.

Hey! Let's talk about serious thing. We're gonna talk about guitar, dude.

Re: The Confessions Thread
There are already two new instrument projects floating around in my head. I have too many guitars. I can't even play the guitar beyond doing noisy stuff.
Sometimes I feel like I should either just go ahead and devote time to actually practice and get a good skill base or quit it already. Sometimes it's like "what the fuck am I doing?"
Like if I record myself and listen to it, it's horrible and then I'll really feel the urge to improve...but at the same time, I don't give a fuuuuuuuuuck.
I dunno. I regularly flip-flop between wanting to get involved and being really, REALLY bored with guitars in general.

Your creations tend to be awesome. You shouldn't have any problem unloading a few if you're worrying about the too many guitars part.
As for the skill thing, that's the main reason I still take lessons. I'm just too much of a slacker to get up and improve on my own. I need an external factor that motivates me to get off my ass and do something. Since I've found a good teacher that works for me more often than not.

Thanks, dude. Sometimes I do wanna offload them, but I feel like I'd regret it...
Sounds like you've got a good thing going with the lessons. I know what you mean; it's not a thing where I have the drive to improve for only myself, there needs to be something else pushing me. Kinda like how I won't do anything productive with free time unless there's a time limit involved. I'll pick myself back up and give this stuff another shot.

Sometimes when I want to get something off my chest and talk about it with more than just my wife I type it out here in whatever thread, but then close it out. And it makes me feel so much better
