The plan sounds great, Ryan!

I was wondering about the knobs. I might pick up some of thin knobs (like on the my The Elements and Tremolessence), since all together they would look pretty fantastic, but those silver knobs do look quite nice.

Also, a larger (or at least different) quest selector knob is a must imho, assuming that one will fit.

Wasn't there talk of 12-sided die knobs at one time? It's probably not a realistic expectation, but that'd be super badass!

That's awesome! Thanks Ash! I think this is a great first Dr. Sci, you're gonna have a blast with it.

No confusion, Kev, no worries! We got a good plan now and I think you'll get a colour choice too buddy.

I like this idea.. a 12 or 20 would make a sweet selector knob! I did an ebay search and only saw 6 sided dice, too boring.. if anybody has a source of cool dice knobs that aren't 20 dollars each, let me know!

I was just thinking all knobs the same.. there isn't a lot of room for a bigger knob, especially on the production version as there has to be text around it.. but maybe for this run we could do a bigger patch selector knob.. those thin metal knobs have a bigger brother that I use on the skywatcher reverbs, could be cool...

I think the silver/aluminum knobs are a wise choice. Metal knobs are a must on acid etched enclosures, just looks right. :thumb:

No DnD knobs, but I keep trying to find the right project for some of the cool aluminum jobs from Classic API:
http://classicapi.com/catalog/index.php?cPath=23_40
Horrible website, but check out the Marconi knobs [if you can find them]

Been a hard winter hey Eric, sorry to hear it. Don't sweat the pre-order, there will be lots of opportunities for BitQuesting.

We're halfway through the pre-order now! I think I'll keep it on ILF for another week and weekend and then maybe post it on facebook week after next to finish it up. This weekend I'll order the shirts and the pcbs!

Thanks Eric and Loann for yesterday's pre-orders, much appreciated!
