Damn, i mean Red is like an absolute pinnacle, it's actually one of my favourite albums. I just can't gel with Blue like i do with Red :idk:

Red is brilliant. Both are a couple of my favorite albums. I like listening to Red more than Blue a lot of days. However, when you get down to it, Blue is a more mature album, with better flow and songwriting that sets it apart.

Sum of the Men, while not bad is up there with the weakest MITB releases. If you're counting actual LPs (not splits or 7"s or what have you) then Thoughtless is about 10,000 light years better.

I feel like Red was this weird 'hey we like Torche a lot let's try and put our spin on that' kind of album that sort of fell apart a bit in places, Blue was just a lot more 'focused' in the song writing.

We can all agree that Yellow and Green suck right?

Yep. Although I put Mancruel at the top of the pile.

Yellow and Green both have a couple good songs and then... just... way too many mediocre to bad attempts at indie rock.

March to the Sea is hot fire, though. With that being one of the first tracks released, I was extremely excited for the album. That song felt like a natural progression from Blue as a more straightforward rock song and hoped for more like it, and then the rest of it was just a disappointment.

I never thought of that as an album since it just collected two split LP sides. Still some of the best MITB jams though.

Agreed on all but Deftones, personally. Adrenaline still kicks my ass every time I put it on.

I really debated on that one. As amazing as Adrenaline is I think that they really solidified all the things I love about them on Around the Fur.
