Dunno how to get this raw and too lazy to screenshot it and upload it to IMGUR but at the very bottom right...
Also, Digitech's ad video about their newest Jamman is clearly targeted at discrediting TC Electronics, DOWN TO THAT WHINY MOCKING VOICE. And that's just mean. You quath aggression with love, not mountains of passive aggression. Even if y'all are both multi-million dollar mass-producers of software-based (read: proprietary) effects, hatred is not the answer...

Doesn't the El Cap work this way?Eric! wrote:REVERSE ON A LOOPER THAT'S TEAM TESLA POWERABLE? YES.
When I was looking at the product page for the x2, I saw that double-tapping the FX switch in reverse mode engages half-speed, and in half-speed mode, triggers the reverse.
FEEDBACK KNOB IS ESSENTIAL, AGREED. Or SOME kind of fade-out....seriously, these guys ever done ambient set?!
Kinda silly that you can only load ONE backtrack...

I use an M9, if you have "overdub volume" less than full, your overdubs lose volume each pass and eventually fade out.Zijnzijn Zijnzijn! wrote:Loopers are great and all but I wish there was a looper with a feedback knob. My favorite thing to loop with is still my DD-20, because I do ambient stuff and I like having loops slowly and naturally fade out. But I could use something longer than like 23 seconds....
anything out there like this that exists??

Re: Ditto x2
I'm having a bit of trouble figuring this stuff out:
Is there a way to have the current loop be a different length than the backing track?
For example, if I have a backing track of 10 seconds loaded, can my first loop (or the first overdub, depending on how you think of it) be 35 seconds?
And also, once you delete a backing track, the only way to bring it back is if you stored it on your computer, right?

Re: Ditto x2
seems like it should have been simple like the ditto but have more switches, at least 3, and include sync. but hey. can't always get what you want. I still might get a LP2 someday when I can afford one, really cool stuff happening there. But for now, the Dl4 really still wins with the Akai E2. These new guys give you more time and pristine sounds, but with more headache IMO.

I know. I wish there was more time but it's a small operation and think this is just the beginning.julius_deane wrote:"Maximum loop length of 26 seconds"decomposing wrote:think the firmware on that one is getting better I hear.Eric! wrote:

but here's some of the awesome features that no other pedal looper can do I think.
"The Looperlative LP2 provides an exciting set of features for the live looper:
Multilayer loops up to 26 seconds long
Up to 100 layers of undo
Up to 8 different songs stored on a 4GB SDHC flash card.
Reverse, 1/2 speed, 1/4 speed effects
Retriggering at beginning of loop or to a random point in the loop
One-shot retriggering
Replace while button held
Rhythmic replace of 1/7, 1/8, 1/9, 1/10, 1/12, 1/16, and 1/24 of the loop
MIDI sync in and out for creating synchronized loops with another LP2. Ability to synchronize with non-Looperlative products is not guaranteed because we can't control what other manufactures do with their MIDI implementation.
Feedback control with an expression pedal (not provided) when overdubbing.
Noise gate with 3 possible settings
Dry signal pass through with volume control knob
Power supply included
Battery operation possible but not guaranteed. We recommend using the provided power supply for best results.
Please view look at the "Videos" oval to see demonstrations of how to use the features."
