Is A Feedback Looper What I Need? (Video Example Included)

I've never really looked in to feedback loopers for whatever reason and was wondering if using one could get me the momentary blast of feedback that is found at around 2:51 in the following video:

No, That's just putting your guitar pickups up against your amp. Feedback looper could potentially do the same thing.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to find a pedal that in the loop squeals like a piggy. I use an ohnoho utter stutter, its a great option.

Any distortion/overdrive pedal with all the knobs maxed could probably do that as well. So long as you just want more of the humming/squealing sound of the amp and not oscillations and fancier stuff like that.

Yeah, it's pretty easy to find a pedal that in the loop squeals like a piggy. I use an ohnoho utter stutter, its a great option.

I'd suggest sticking whatever you're currently used for dirt in a momentary feedback (like the ohnoho chkchkBOOM), then you should be able to mimick that kind of action pretty easily. You might have to experiment a bit with it, though. Feedback loops can be pretty unpredictable.
