Well if it makes you feel any better I don't use rosewood for fingerboards ;-)
I did make a special order acoustic with rosewood board and bridge though.
For fingerboards I generally use Padauk, Granadillo, and will be experimenting with morado since Granadillo isn't always available locally.
I will do maple fingerboards is requested but I am not a fan of lacquering over frets. You essentially have to chip all the lacquer off the frets to keep from getting weird little buzzes.
But yeah I did that bass VI with a maple fingerboard and am doing one of the deluxe riddles with a maple fingerboard as it was a special order.
That's another thing that you can't please everyone over is fingerboards. It's like getting a huge group of people together and trying to decide on pizza.

Hahahahah so true. I've been playing mustang which are rosewood and have just dealt with it.

I can't wait to see that riddle. I really wanna see some finished new line guitars.

Will the bolt on be a current shape or it's own unique thang?

The bolt on neck guitar (which will be known as the "Cosmonaut") will be another new design.
I am also excited to get these new models finished! How strongly do I believe in these? Well since I fear the fundraiser won't meet the goal I have started putting some pieces of machinery up for sale to help raise money!
Just need to be able to get the parts and they will be done.

Is it weird that the second revision of the Attache isn't even done yet but I am thinking of doing a third revision???

I really like the new Attache so I'm way excited to hear that!

Right on! We'll see what happens with it. So far the biggest reactions have been for the Riddle and Provocateur but only a few have made noise about the Attache. So we'll see what happens but regardless one of two things will happen. 1) I will introduce another model that is fairly similar but might have a bit broader appeal, or if reception of Attache 2.0 isn't great then I'll make that other idea into Attache 3.0.
But I'm getting ahead of myself!

These are the 12 string guitars that are going to be finished as 6-string guitars!
For shaded finishes we have brown shaded, amber shaded, and blue shaded.
For solid colors we have black and raspberry red.
Which two would you pick??

HEY by the way, we are exactly two weeks away from the end of the fundraiser! In addition to that I have been working to sell some surplus machinery, and I SHOULD atleast have enough money (hopefully) to get the parts made so your guitar (and Lars') can be finished up!
