This is the album they were making when a certain US fuzz pedal headed the way of Josh and Alan. :wha?:

I've always thought they might be using Deviever's...

Fuzz sounds on all QOTSA and Eagles of Death Metal are simply to die for.

He's John Paul Fookin' Jones! He just walked out onto a crowded London street and said "I need a bass lap steel," and fifty starving luthiers all set to work on one at the same time... then he picked his favorite, and the chosen luthier ran off gibbering "John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin is one of my clients!"

I just got back from the Vultures show.

GOOD LORD!!!!!!

Homme is physically huge.
Grohl is a fucking RUTHLESS BEAST!! :animal: :animal: :animal: He made his drumming in Nirvana seem tame.

I could go on and on, but just go see them for yourselves.

Gotta ruin the trend. In all honesty, this shit is terrible. Such a washed up sound. The drumming is sweet, however, anything and everything else is terrible.

sorry you feel that way bro. you are missing out!

i grew up with kyuss and as much as i miss them and that tone, this is alot of fun. the first time i heard it was in bits and pieces in my car and i was  just another version of era vulgaris. i do like era vulgaris btw. then i was sick at home the last few days and gave it a few spins and there is some good fucking shit in there!!! josh is still the man, jpj is epic, and grohl is a beast.

I'd say my main complaint is Dave's drums sound kinda sterile. The drumming is impressive, but they just don't sound kick ass enough.
I really wish they were playing the East Coast, I'm sure he's a beast live
