meh, that's what I'm doing now. In fact, that's what this thread is for. I could go out to the bars for a drink or two before they close, but I don't really feel like it.

Tomorrow I'm seeing going to get up relatively early, do some grocery shopping, get some tasty curry and then go see a Talking Heads tribute band, so I've got plenty to rest up for.

some thoughts on 25c.

it's somewhat manic. a lot more hyper than my usual experiences with lsd. i'm not bouncing off the walls, but i am a bit more fidgety and highly strung than i am on acid etc. it seems a lot less of a keep calm and just fry thing, but not too far towards the other end as to be not enjoyable. however, the fact that i'm doing it at home, alone, on a hot ass saturday afternoon/evening might have something to do with that, i don't know. seeing my fair share of visuals etc. even typing this has me seeing fractals all over the place.

a friend told me that it's a bit more of a "party" experience than LSD, while still remaining in the general ballpark of psychedelic experience. I'm inclined to agree, I definitely see his point.

i also feel a lot more nauseous with 25c than i usually do with LSD, although this may have something to do with the fact that I had a huge lunch beforehand.

and yes i am zonked on psychedelics in the middle of the day

Meh, what a better time. I'm zonked on downers at night. If only I could find some pot. I texted my guy but got no response. It's a new dealer relationship so, yeah.

So when you're ready to go do something, do you say, "erector, set!" (that was a dumb joke. Ignore it if you don't get it).

Le sigh, I'm on my last beer, I could take more klonopin or an oxy, but I want to say what little oxy I have for the show tomorrow. So I think I'll just log off in a minute or two and enjoy the music.

it's definitely not as conducive to just lying down and tripping out, partly because of that slightly more manic feel to it, and partly because I don't think you see quite as much awesome shit when you close your eyes as you do on LSD. However, I am now listening to "The Creator Has a Master Plan" off of Pharaoh Sanders' Karma and it is Very Beautiful so....

My roommate came home all wasted and got angry when I insisted the Organ came before the Piano, then drunkenly spilled green tea around my room.

i have now plugged my equipment in and am zoning out to a c3, triangle wave, pitch being modulated by a reasonably fast triangle wave lfo, just creeping into audio range, running through a digitech pds-1002 and then a tech 21 boost rvb. sadly only into my studio monitoring setup, instead of the huge ass PA/bass rig/both I wish I had, but it's a start........

the drug has settled into an almost completely agreeable fundamental psychedelic buzz. i am no longer as manic as i initially was (aside from the habitual leg pumping etc that I have normally and that is often amplified with any sort of psychedelic drug). It's an interesting thing, this 25C. Really strong initial rush but it doesn't remain as powerfully mind-altering for as long as acid, it seems. I'm still seeing some patterns and pleasing visual distortion but nothing too major. Aside from the intial rush I feel like I've been entirely in control of the experience. Doesn't seem to trigger the same sort of intense mental/metaphysical/spiritual/philosophical free associative trains of thought that LSD does for me, but too much of that is also very tiring.

No unpleasant sensations to report, aside from some physical discomfort that is probably a combination of already existing shoulder pain and the drug. Also slight bruxism that I can often catch myself doing.

Of course, take note that I have not had LSD in a while and am not comparing notes directly. Maybe I should try and score some LSD soon, ingest it, and then compare with the shitty notes I've taken today.
