More importantly, there's a Traynor Monoblock peeking out from around the corner.

So, how many of those cabs are dummies? ;)

Jucifer isn't a hair band from the 80's. No need for dummies, it's sheer volume they're after.

skullservant wrote:hahaha none of them are dummies. I forgot to wear ear protection when I saw them a few years back. It took me a good 3 days to hear properly after....

So much truth! My internal organs felt bruised from rattling around after seeing them the first time. The wall of sound is nauseatingly intense.

Yeah. They were definitely louder than Sunn O))) when Sunn O))) rolled through. The only other band I can think of that was almost as loud was The Body, both times they played down in Richmond. The second time they came through they collaborated with Braveyoung and kept tripping the circuit breaker in the venue haha

Apparently they're going to be touring under a different name soon and playing the non-metal stuff from their albums, which I think is a great idea because after seeing them live twice I can definitely say the "sheer volume" novelty has worn off.

Yeah at Strange Matter! Damnit I miss that place. After 2-3 straight years of $5 burger nights it became routine. I also only lived a block away :(
ITS SUCH A SMALL WORLD. WE WERE IN THE SAME ROOM. PROBABLY SAW EACH OTHER.

I got really sad after checking out The Body, because I had heard of them for a long time before I checked them out and they're kind of perfect.

They are honestly probably my favorite band in the entire world right now, and really ever since I saw them for the first time about two years ago. So freaking good
