no one can afford a $6k cable
thats like saying you can afford a ton of broken glass
theres no price where its worth it
this cable could be worth it at $50
but they honestly prob put some stupid expensive metal in there
so theyd lose money selling it to normal people
its just a bad idea
even/especially if it works and they take off somehow
i just think scumbags like this are kinda evil

Honestly if i was famous and people wanted to learn the secrets of my godlike tone, i would make it a point to use cheap as possible stuff.

But being a gear head, i dont know if i could tame my gear lust.

Good thing I'll never be rich and famous. Whew... DODGED THAT BULLET

I was in a shop one time chatting about a guitar I was contemplating, and casually, through our conversation it came up I worked in a hospital.

Guy, without batting an eye hands me a dozen business cards and says "if you know any doctors who want to finance an entire guitar collection tell them to call me - I'll hook it all up - I could do like 20k in doctor credit no hassle"

I don't know any doctors who play wicked blues though. I wish I did... that would be a hella sweet party.... I could test out all the classic Les Pauls I want..... and 6000 dollar cables......

Someone please send this to Billy every day until all his pent-up rage erupts, his head turns to actual chrome and he engages his final form: Ultimo-Corgon, where he finally starts to hate fuck every skyscraper in Japan demanding an explanation, weeping tears of mercury down on the innocent bystanders below while proclaiming to be the greatest musician of all time, including the future.
