The fact that they have solid magnesium core necks is a fact lost on a lot of people too...colin wrote:Supros are so cool looking. I've never actually played one, but they seem surprisingly affordable for neat vintage guitars.

So like, they'll catch fire if exposed to water?tommasters wrote:The fact that they have solid magnesium core necks is a fact lost on a lot of people too...colin wrote:Supros are so cool looking. I've never actually played one, but they seem surprisingly affordable for neat vintage guitars.

I'd be more worried about this than water exposure. For sure.Achtane wrote:Only if they haven't caught fire from my sweet-ass riffs. Please tell me that it sounds like corrugated sheet metal when you tap on the body.

Tell me more about this! I didn't know that. Always been curious to grab a Dual Tone. Great looking guitar, Tom.tommasters wrote:The fact that they have solid magnesium core necks is a fact lost on a lot of people too...colin wrote:Supros are so cool looking. You're thinking of Sodium with water or elements with that valency. Magnesium does catch fire like a bitch but only in shavings. But yeah sweet ass riffs would probably set it on fire...Holy Schnikes wrote:I'd be more worried about this than water exposure. Apparently instead of having a truss rod they just have a huge piece of metal in the necks, It's like a big piece of metal with a fretboard on top and a wood veneer on the back.kosta wrote: Tell me more about this! The neck bolts go straight into metal too for the sustains...

Oh shit, yeah. Magnesium is the one that you can't put out with water. And that up there is fucking silly.

Normally not a fan of strats, but that one is pretty sexy. I'd link my main guitar, but it's just the jaguar that I've posted several times before on here.
