+1 on the Wren and Cuff Tall Font Russian if you're looking for A fuzz.

My favorite low gain drive sound for bass is the Timmy.
I use it with a G&L 2000 and it sounds delicious.

I've had a TFR and it was pretty cool. I never played on an amp I liked a lot but I found it really scooped so hopefully your amp can makeup for that or you already have a lot of mids in your setup somewhere

As one bassist on ILF likes to say; FUCK MIDS... Also like MEC said it's not very "low gain" but it sounds good...

Also Elements...

Elements is great on bass in low and high gain!

Another vote for the Pharaoh. But I would also check out Earthquaker Monarch, unlike most overdrives has a big, thick low-mid focused sound, and the bass and treble knobs make it real easy to dial in. My go-to for low to medium gain dirt on bass. For what it's worth, I use a Supercollider for high gain.

Not muff fuzz, but I can't say enough good things about the TAFM. Besides just being a great fuzz, clean/fuzz mix is ridiculous.
I am jonesing for the new Pharaoh Supreme.

Pharaoh Supreme sounds like it will be awesome. Even more versatile? good lord. I think I am happy with Pharoah as is, but if I had a choice of what to get it would be the new one.

So, uhm yeah, another vote for pharaoh.

The Pharaoh Supreme looks pretty cool.

I actually have decided to build my own. I'm going to concentrate on making it sound great at low gain with my high output bass.

I have my Bluebeard for the high gain stuff.

I'm going to stick with stock clipping diodes and I'll eliminate the tone knob. Any other mods y'all find extremely useful?
The Riff Agriculturalist. I also make stuff at Damnation Audio.
