when you go to their site, there is a chat option. i've used that to ask for a coupon code before.

I've also had luck asking for %15 off an item using their popup chat box.

Just call and ask. They've never turned me down on discount/price match/sale match request. They'll even override excluded brands no questions asked.

I have money set aside for a surf green VM Jag, provided I can get 15% off. I'm just waiting for a coupon code.

Stupid January clearance, a.k.a. the "let the suckers with gift cards pay full price on merchandise we list as clearance but isn't actually on clearance" sale. The Jag I want is listed in their clearance sale at exactly the same price as it has been for the last two years. It's not discontinued, and not on clearance. It is not even on sale. Just another example of MF and their typical scam-vertising.

Just to update, i didn't use a coupon, tonight I checked and saw what I wanted used at a LOW price, especially for being in Condition 1.

Elektron Analog 4

The fact that it is a 64 step CV sequencer, with 4 cv outs, as well as 4 mono synths(actually paraphonic now I think) with a ton of tricks up it's sleeves was too hard to resist.

That SFX-6 is a pretty beastly machine.

The A4 checked off a bunch of boxes at once that really fill out my set-up (Tempest, Serge, Zoom SB-246>Effects, iPad).

Just call and ask what they can do, providing it's not a one-of-a-kind item (ie a used thing) - it's no different than an in-person shop except you have nothing at all to lose.

I've always gotten something off, sometimes substantial.

And excluded brands don't apply on those types of phone requests.
