Looking forward to The War On Drugs, Doug Paisley, The Men, Angel Olsen, Each Other, and Swans. Wait, are Swans releasing an album this year? I don't know where I heard about that.
Swans put out another live record in order to raise money to go back into the studio.

Also, welcome to ILF brah.
good deals are here.

Ben Frost was supposedly putting out a record this past fall which never happened, so here is to hoping it surfaces this year.

Really enjoying this. Any idea where I can get some of their music that isn't iTunes?
I can only find iTunes store links but I don't want to give Apple my money

kinda curious about the new Shellac, even though the last one was not too awesome. also, there's a new D. Rider album coming out on Drag City.

there are metal albums i'll be checking out, too, i'm sure. the as-yet unrecorded Baring Teeth 2nd record. the Geryon vinyl on Gilead Media. the last Gridlink.

Saw Pontiak once here in Czech Rep. Small club, awesome dudes to talk to... and just imagine them, playing one of Sunn O)))'s Model T in a relatively small club, that was a sonic experience for sure :)

Yup, you can order MP3's and CD's and records it directly from Thrill Jockey--I believe they use their own music download store:

I think I heard speculation of him possibly doing a collab with Stars of the Lid based on some photo of them together. Do you know anything about that?
