I say yay! IMO probably the best modern production amp Orange has out. Ever seen Zoroaster? He used one for a long long time. Local band The Osedax used one for a long time as well and it sounded amazing live. I have no experience though with running pedals through one but I played one plugged straight in and loved it.conky wrote:Orange Thunderverb 200, yay or nay? Tell me about it.

I've actually got a Fouke Industrial hollowbody that I've been trying to unload. Interested parties can PM me for details.dazedbyday wrote:
Bad ass! Making me really envious. I really like semi hollow and hollow bodies for some reason. Having an aluminum one would be extra killer. Congratulations dude.

I saw them after their first demo came out and they had a mountain of amps in that small space. Sounded so good. Saw them later opening for Intronaut and they had a different drummer and were meh. Still had good tone though. I found one listed for trade that I'm gonna see about maybe trading my JCM800 plus a little cash for.Ancient Astronaught wrote:I say yay! I gotcha, they've been through numerous line-up changes but I've always enjoyed them. Dude if its not that much cash on top I would be all over that deal.conky wrote:I saw them after their first demo came out and they had a mountain of amps in that small space. Sounded so good. Nice dude!!!! I liked that lil vid you posted online. Seems like everyone I know around here is going to Marshall / Peavey stereo rigs. The dude I bought my parachute wah from used to run 2 vintage Model T's and he sold them both to pick up a JCM800 and a 5150, but he did change from playing doom to black metal but eh.crohny wrote:Got to use the Peavey with the Marshall at practice last night. Holy fuck is all I can say.

I don't know if I would trade the JCM for it. They are rad, though.conky wrote:I saw them after their first demo came out and they had a mountain of amps in that small space. Sounded so good. Probs because you can cover a month's rent or a mortgage payment or a big pile of drugs with the differenceAncient Astronaught wrote:Seems like everyone I know around here is going to Marshall / Peavey stereo rigs. Backups don't have to be about being as loud, they more need to be trust worthy and able to get you through the gig if something happens to a main.crohny wrote:I am beyond happy with my current rig. Now I need to start working towards back ups for the Marshall and Peavey. Have the Bassman and Laney but they aren't nearly as loud.
Or pay your press agent to get you more publicity.......D.o.S. wrote:Probs because you can cover a month's rent or a mortgage payment or a big pile of drugs with the difference
