Fender made a double neck for David Gilmour in the 70's and he rejected it because it was too heavy.

But if they make those with maple necks, I'd buy two.

I met Troy a couple of weeks ago at a qotsa gig, he was saying its around the 15lb mark and he absolutely loves it, it's not quite as good as his sig jag but they had to keep the wiring pretty simple but he loves it couldn't stop raving about it.
