That's a good resolution on a bucket list. I don't think anything I've recorded has ended up on vinyl, there's one that will probably end up on vinyl and a couple that were supposed to be but nothing to my knowledge has actually gone to fruition. I hope this is just your first my friend!!!

Fuck yeah, man. I'm right there with ya -- when we put out the 10" split with the Unbeheld, I was beyond pumped. Next goal: have a full length pressed on vinyl. :thumb: :thumb:
That split rules BTW. I listen to it regularly. If I can help in any way getting your shit on vinyl I will. You guys are fucking rad. We're wanting to do a full length LP eventually but we're a young band (less than 5 shows under our belt) and we don't have the fanbase to sell two or three hundred copies of vinyl on our own. Any less than that on a pressing though and it isn't cost effective at all. One day we will get there, but for now we're going to do as many splits as we can on vinyl and tape release.

I'm still all  that I didn't have my 1200s off standby, and therefore secret weapon was inop, I kept messing with the board thinking that was why it sounded off. Yay old man feeblebrain. We have to come down your way and I'll try to remember to make sure all the amps are on this time.

Every thing I've heard about Orville's is that they rule. I have not owned one but I'd like to.

And Mike, You're not old! Cause if you are then I am! :poke:

YES FUCKING YESLIKE A MOTHEWRFUCKER YES!!! Especially if you can find an Orville by Gibson. They have all gibson hardware and pickups on them instead of Japanese stuff like the regular Orvilles. I love my LP Custom.

You'd fit perfectly with what we're doing. Plus then we could swap out instruments here and there too.

Thanks. Yeah, some of the newer songs are starting to get lots longer and a little more shoegaze-y in parts but for the most part it is heavily influenced by Enemy of the Sun era Neurosis. Here's one I posted a while back thats taken from a practice recorded with a Zoom Q2HD:

tres bein and muy bueno.

I'm always pleasantly surprised by the bands on ILF. Not that I'm really expecting anyone's band to suck or not be my cup of tea, but you know... :idk:

:thumb: I know what you mean. I haven't heard one band that sucks from a Doom Room regular and the few times I venture outside of here I have been pretty surprised at the amount of cool music that people on ILF are putting out. I still think a Doom Room comp would rule pretty hard.

I think this place attracts a certain type of scum and villainy that is conducive to rad tunage.
What happened to the Doom Room comp Idea? did we all get side tracked?
I'm upgrading the interface from a 2i2 to a 18i8 in the hopes that we can get more live recorded stuff done and have vocals show up in the mix. Right now I can capture great sounding jams using two mics, I'm thinking 4 mics + line in from the board for vocals should sound pretty good. We will see.
