Wow, that's a thorough list. Now, I heard very polarizing opinions on Yeezus, why did it top your list?

Shit I can't even remember what I actually listened to from this year. I know Boris' Präparat was one of my favorites though

My list is getting out of fucking control

How can people be doing these in November seriously? I need to add the fucking BEASTMILK, PHARMAKON and a few others... I still haven't even gotten all the stuff I ordered in 2013 in the mail yet... my Total Black order hasn't even shipped yet and I've got like 10 noise tapes I've barely even spun..... and I keep coming back to that ABYSSAL record, if it was on gatefold 2xLP people would losing their minds over it..... dark horse contender.... plus the BOLZER MLP I'm still working on, and I'm coming around on the CAUCHEMAR....

And I'm gonna bump the CULTES DES GHOULES to the top of my list..... fuck......

I hate being definitive about music, but I think Gorguts Colored Sands.

It's the kind of album I'd want people who've never gotten into metal to listen to. The composition is phenomenal and the production is great. Just put on some headphones and drift away.

In addition to Colored Sands being the best I'd also like to say that Life Sentence by Satan is one of the best albums I've ever heard. If gorguts represents what's great about more extreme metal, Life Sentence is the best partying, thrashing fun record out. Not beer swilling Municipal Waste partying, just kinda I dunno... Denim jacket, satan loving beer drinking howl at the moon partying.

I'm really enjoying that Gorguts record.

I don't think I can come up with a top ten. There are albums that came out so early in 2013 that I really liked but haven't listened to in a grip.

I think it's one of the better produced albums i've heard. Every sound is just so cool and it all feels very thought through. Also, it's innovative and playful. Kinda the same reason why I liked the daft punk record so much actually. The only "bad" thing about it is probably some of the lyrics.

Yeah but wouldn't that pretty much be a "producers that work with Kanye West make an instrumental album" album? It's not going to end up having much to do with Kanye at all.
