Yeah, wfs1234's 616D must've won out...only makes me have to wonder how truly awesome THAT is, since he sold me his 600D!!!!

I prefer my 600D honestly unless you absolutely NEED modulation.

Same here. The modulation was cool for about two minutes.
I find it useful in a noise kind of way, if you dial the mix back... But other than that...

600!!!!!

The 616 Dark is fantastic. It's a great washy/background delay. But, I think I prefer brighter more cutting delays. I use verb more in the background.

That said... I had the 600B and thought it was really lacking.

I just received a 616 dark in the mail yesterday. I really love it. One thing I noticed is there's some slight noise/humming when the mix knob is turned all the way to the right. Has anyone else experienced this? I actually like the modulation, as I plan on using the delay for some droning shoegaze music.

Ha ha, it's all good man.

Should have it in my grubby little hands tonight. Trails is a "nice to have" but not mandatory. We'll see how it goes...PGS return policy as a fallback.

It's pretty nifty. The sound quality's not quite as good as the 600, but pretty darn close, but I do love the modulation. It's what tipped me over on the decision to sell the 600, I just needed the modulation.
