Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
The body I got awhile back from Saylor Guitars on ebay. It was about $150 iirc. He makes lots of cool shapes. Like a Telebird/Firemaster. Which you can get semi hollow with a f-hole and all that. All sorts of filthy fucking wood choices too. Mine is spalted Korina over ash. The neck is from Warmoth. It was pricey but I had a little bit of dough right then so I went for my dream look.

Yep, that thing looks awesome already in a very 70s kinda way. I dig it.

Saylor fucking rules! That's where I got my Telemaster body from (the one AA/Skip had!) Top notch stuff. Excited to see how yours comes together!

Nice! That was beaut! I was over at Verellen's one night and saw some amp that had the deepest earthiest richest dark green stain I have ever seen. I think it'll be badass on both the korina and the ash so I'm going with that. I want to get one of those pickguards that's cut from a 12" record too. I'm going to see if I can find some old beat NWA record or something.

Yeah they're just a few minutes away and I've been talking about it ever since I got the body.

That's like something I've been thinking of body and f-hole wise. I was thinking of doing a fretless with sustainiac and a reverse headstock just because there should be more reverse headstocks in the world.

This guy is suiting me quite well. I've already dropped it (busting the rhythm switch) and fixed it.

Hey! Let's talk about serious thing. We're gonna talk about guitar, dude.

I came about a millimeter from a reverse headstock. In the end I just liked the regular JM style best.
That Jag and that Duo-Sonic are both beautiful

Sooooo pretty! Is that 24" or 22.5"? The perspective on the first photo makes that neck look teeny.

Re: Let's see your GUITAR!
It's more specifically 22.7" scale.
The originals were 22.5, the MIM Reissue was 22.7, and the Squier is 24 (which feels way different!...and a fatter neck on that one). But yeah. That length is so nice to play, I'm never going back.
