HELP A BRUVA OUT AND GET SOME FREE PRESS?

So, I'm working on launching a music review/news/interviews site right now.
We're working on largely becoming a platform for artists that aren't signed, or for labels that are looking to expand their fanbase. Honestly, I want this to become the pitchfork.com of small artists when we hit full stride.

We've got a domain name (site is only a placeholder for now, or I'd link), a small team of writers (looking to expand it!), editors, and a team working PR to get us some connections to labels and venues, once we've ironed out the mission statement a bit more. We're looking to launch sometime by either the end of this month, or next month with a bunch of material.

I love the community here, and would love to be able to give you guys some press.

Ideally, a physical release would be amazing. Since we're really working on volunteers giving them an incentive of getting an album for a review would be fantastic, but honestly, anything you guys have would be a great help to us this early in the site.

Anyone willing to lend a hand?

I'm looking for promotional copies of albums members have put out so that we can send them off to parts of our writing team for review when the site is ready to launch. I might not have been as specific as I should have been when writing that up.

I'll be PMing everyone info now. I meant to last night, but it was 4am when I went to bed, and I wasn't capable of writing a good email then.
