hahaha, so boring. I haven't even tested it yet, I outgrew my rack as soon as I started prototyping the TGD and HAX modules. But I've got a Happy Ending kit on the way. Eventually I think I'll go to 2x happy ending kits in a portable case.

Sadly, I've all but given up on the idea of buying a modular synthesizer.
I haven't given up but I'm starting to accept the fact that I might be waiting a couple years. At least until I'm out of school and have a legit job/no debt. I've sold some gear and saved some cash, but to actually afford a modular synth I'd have to pretty much sell all my gear, which isn't happening. Or there's always more debt...what's a couple grand more on top of my current student debts?
The only reason I was able to start one was a huge tax return that I was planning on saving but instead blew, in a matter of minutes. And that was only for 3u, that wasn't anything crazy like 6u or 9u.

I'm going to take a guess- mults, unity gain mixer, and attenuator. Utility modules are far from boring since they are extremely important.

i dunno. i feel like good module design, which is obviously subjective, for me includes attenuation, for cv's and for audio. as for mults, stackable banannas and now 3.5 mms should negate the need for these. i remember as a kid hating my PAiA 4700 because i had to use so many of my precious patch cables in multing stuff up. unity gain mixers are an awesome utility for a system that might be super dense with sound generation and modification more than mixing, a good balance might negate using these too.

Can't believe I haven't considered this but what kind of amps do you guys use for your modular kit? I'm trying to search Muffwiggler for an answer but fuck their search function sucks
