I always want to but haven't taken the plunge. My band is heavily dependent on specific sounds that if I sold some gear the songs could no longer be played. That'd be great incentive to write more jams so I'm looking into it always. Just not sure what I'd do.

It's hard...
But I really need to concentrate on my playing at the moment.
I'm better at creating sounds than playing the instrument.

I already re-thought my board. That's why I need to build a new board. A bigger one.
But first I need to build a new headshell for my bass amp.
So yeah.... If my re-thought pedalboard is finished this time next year, I'm gonna be happy

I've always wondered about people/bands who are like this... i mean like... what sounds are we even talking about here, you know? What are the irreplaceable things, because from my experience, changing gear always pushed me to just using new sounds or evolving the part into something inspired by the new gear. However everything basically stayed the same I think

Swapping almost everything non-dirt i have right now

I have been rethinking my board for the past year and a half and there's no end in sight!
It's a lot of fun :)

For me, higher end multis are the solution. Like the Eventide H9, covers so much ground for my purposes.

I'm so tired of my board, that's the reason why I stopped to play guitar. I've become a synth addict.

Well second voice ugly face and rainbow machine are pretty unique but I'm starting to find alternatives. I'm not bad at guitar playing I'm just more into how things sound than showing some shred flinstone.

I'm guessing people in cover bands never change their boards. Or someone on tour with a tight setlist. Otherwise it just doesn't make sense not to constantly be exploring new sounds. :idk:
