‘La Reh’, the forthcoming release from drone overlords Sunn O))), is now available to pre-order, but you’ll have to act quickly!

2014 looks set to be a busy year for the mighty Sunn O))). That highly anticipated collaboration with Norwegian shape shifters Ulver has been penned in for a February release, but to whet our appetites even further, the duo will be releasing a brand new demo entitled ‘La Reh’ in January. This will be the first new material we’ll have heard from the band since their 2012 rehearsal demo, and with the highly talented Brad Boatright (Sleep, Noothgrush, From Ashes Rise) behind the mixing desk, it’s a safe bet that this is going to sound enormous!

‘La Reh’ will be released as a 12″ 180 gram black Vinyl (limited to 1500 machine numbered copies), as well as a high-quality digital format. You can pre-order the vinyl here, whilst the digital version can be purchased at the band’s Bandcamp page.

‘La Reh’ is due to be released on January 20th via Southern Lord Records.

I'm really excited for the collab with Ulver, the sample sounded great on the bandcamp page.

I'm also as ambivalent as humanly possible about another limited Sunn pre order act now see you on ebay type deal... no thanks.... you'd think with all the shit they've put their customers through with terrible customer service over the past decade they wouldn't hold their fans hostage to use their webstore.... I mean hey that's just me, I tend not to forget these things.....

I really wish Ideologic Organ would handle the Sunn reissues rather than SL....

Yeah, I've heard that they have their shit in order now. But I would only use their mailorder as an absolute last resort, and I'm certainly not pre-ordering anything from them..... I have a friend who got burned really badly by them, and the horror sTories I've heard through throughout the years.... ridiculous!!

Ive no idea how people go on and on about sunn being better than khanate. Like have you even seen both of them live? Oh right you haven't. You only just found out about them last year and sunn have waaaaay better tshirts. Khanate was megatons heavier in a hipster bar with stars on the wall that played chingy and def leopard in between sets than sunn ever were in any of the churches and shit I've seen them play.

I've seen Khanate in their fuckin' prime man... they were way better than Sunn, who were also awesome but not nearly as awesome as Khanate..... plus Oren Ambarchi opened for Sunn which was awesome.....

the last Aethenor was better than any Sunn record ever made.... fwiw.....

If you truly gave no fucks you wouldn't have even entered the thread in the first place. All pertinent information was made available in the subject line so that you didn't need to enter the thread to know what it was about. The subject line contained all the information necessary for you to determine whether or not you gave a fuck. But instead of ignoring the thread that you claim you don't give any fucks about, you posted several times in it. So, you obviously give fucks. While it may not be a positive fuck towards the new Sunn release, you obviously have strong feelings against it. In other words, you give a fuck.
