Creepy Fingers Os Mutantes pedal. Its orange. And sparkly. And sounds amazing. Has a volume, then fuzz, then tone control that is backwards in my mind. clockwise is more bassy, counter more treble? doesn't matter. Also has a switch on the front side that gives a boost. i didn't it. Tried to show the beautiful innards but the phone decided to stop recording before i could get the cables to cooperate. Its sparkly :joy:
Enjoy!

Ah, another Os Mutantes clone. This time from Fredric Effects. And Blue. No sparkly. But that's ok cause it's only got one knob, and one switch. The knob controls volume, and the switch is a sort of tone selector between Hi/Low. Hi is more treble gated fizzlish and Low is positively heavy for riffage if you're a riffer. I'm not a riffer but still like the low alots. Tried to show the cool artwork of mutants around the pedal top.
Hope you can dig it :joy:

Hey stranger, check this shit out. Point to point wiring, germs, sweepable frequency range, maestro fz-1a circuit and cool dimpled case. The Fuzz Nugget. The volume and fuzz knobs are even useless like on a real fz-1a for almost half of their range, and the volume knob doubles as an on/off. I included a pic of the innards. :joy:

Thanks for watching.

I do have a Korg sr-120 :) modded with cv in/out for 5 of the ten voices and clock sync for v and s trig, and on/off switches for all 10 voices. :omg:
and a Roland tr-55
alesis sr-16
and a kit
and i play with 2 drummers who i'm sure wouldn't mind backing my melody/harmony less noodles

i'll think about the drum machine, i believe having a backing track was a frowned upon. But I did make a couple videos with simple atonal note changes in a loop i played around.

we shall see. :thumb:

Word, I wasn't thinking backing track per se but maybe the drum machine through one of your 4ms or fuzz on a FoxTrot-Samba with some UG guitar fuzz over the top all Krautrock style... :erm:

ahhhhh yes indeed. if i keep this up, next is stacking pedals. Not that i have/had a plan, but just playing a loop through the fuzz wasn't really showing off the dynamics of the pedal...maybe my playing through them isn't either  ....so i decided to go through the pedals again and play some notes trying to stay away from melody and chord changes. You'll notice I'm basically just sliding chord shapes up and down the neck. Then if I'm still having fun and people are still interested i was gonna start stacking pedals that go good together. I let Dr S. know i use his tremolo with my korg sr-120 and he would love to hear a demo, so that's on the docket. I like your idea too, didn't really occur to me...one of my favorite things is running the alesis sr-16 through the biscuit for unique textures that i layer low in the mix.

Good Idea as usual :thumb:

Its long, thick, and black. Think you can handle it? hahaha bbc stereotype jokes. But serioulsy, it's long, thick, and black. It might be too much for your board to handle. He's stopped using this enclosure and is using a more pedalboard version now. I love this thing. The pigdog Spectrafuzz, a burns buzzaround clone. Just full on nasty. Included a gut shot so you can see how lovely the point to point is.

That part around 7:00 to 7:27 was all about the Buzzarround... This is relevant...

aside from fripp, was the buzzaround a key ingredient to a genre or player at the time?
