But aren't strap locks the silliest accessory for guitarists and bass players? I mean, you can just get washers from the hardware store. Take off the strap buttons, put your strap hole over the screw hole, then put the washer down, followed by the button. Screw in place. There. You spent like 20 cents and your strap ain't coming off unless you destroy your entire guitar.

Fair enough. I definitely have to tuck my strap into the case just right or else it won't fit. I just like the idea of "cheap + isn't ever coming off"

.... i love the Dunlop strap locks, i've bought like 6 packs. have them on all of my straps.

and yeah, switching straps and the cases i like you gotsta take the strap off.

I also use oversize strap buttons on everything. I've had bad luck with strap locks in the past, Schaller specifically.

We get a similarly designed beer bottles though... but out of the few where i tried to get the sealer, only one was usable and rubber, the other ones were plastic and useless ???

I DO have that one on my bottom strap button on my Jazzmaster i'd really like to have at least three more for both my electrics
