B:assmaster Silicon/Germanium Question

Thinking of picking up a malekko b:assmaster on craigslist. is there an wasy way to tell if it's the silicon or germanium version?

Germanium has a blue led unless it's older and I think those are different color boxes... Someone here should know...

No differences in the boxes unless it's a limited edition like the breast cancer one or the double germanium which had a silverburst bottom.
