Clear coating question and advice seeking....

Just got a Deviever Hyperion and noticed that the pedal's graphics is just a sticker. I'm thinking I should put some kind of clear coat on the thing, so when the time comes to lube and clean the pot, the sticker won't degrade from getting wet.

So....

1. How much of the pedal should I disassemble before clear coating? Just the knobs and remove the bolts to expose all the paper?

2. Or do I completely remove the enclosure and clear coat the entire thing or just the sticker?

3. What should I use and any tips?
