Stereo Reverb jibbajabbuh

this is a long and lonely road that i have traveled a lot. i don't know of any that have separate controls over each channel. but i do have opinions and experience with this topic so i will share them. as far as i can remember, these are the ones i've tried or owned:
ehx cathedral- i owned this for a while. it does some cool shit and i loved the infinite setting. really cool feature. i probably sold it a little prematurely as it is possible that if i had explored all the settings i may have found something i liked better than what i was getting. my complaints were, i didn't really like the sound with dirt. a common complaint for me with reverbs, but a lot of them just sound like shit with dirt. i also found that the multiple presets weren't very useful to me without any of them being foot switchable. i pretty much leave reverb always on and presets would be used for different parts, clean/dirt, whatever. not foot switchable isn't that helpful.

tc trinity- these two are basically the same. i owned them each for a very short period of time. this pedal was disappointing to me. i thought it would be the end of my search. i couldn't find a setting that i liked with dirt. it does sound good and some modes got close with dirt, but it was far behind some of the mono pedals that i really liked. the difference with the trinity is that it has two modulated reverb modes and those both sound pretty awesome.

hardwire supernatural- this was another one that i really thought was going to be awesome but was a letdown compared to some cool mono reverbs.

strymon bluesky- this and the cathedral were probably my favorites. the one foot switchable preset is pretty cool. the pedal sounds pretty good, although it kind of has this sterile "digitalness" to it, if that makes sense. i'm pretty sure that although the dry signals maintain their integrity, the wet signal is a blend, so both outputs are getting the same wet signal. kind of a nit picky thing, but if you're using two separate dirt chains, those dirt signals will be blended to create the reverb and sent to both channels. and, the fucking thing is really expensive.

i ended up buying a ghost echo after trying all this shit cause it just sounds awesome, even though it's mono. like, way better than all those. when running two amps, i ended up just running a bit more reverb on one amp than i normally would and keeping the other one dry. i actually thought this sounded awesome, and i think you should try that with a really good sounding reverb before you start worrying that you need to have a stereo reverb. and honestly, if i were going to run two amps again and want reverb to both of them, i would just get two reverb pedals. you can get better sounding pedals that way and have more control. and it's still less than buying a space or a bigsky. and i wouldn't ever use all the shit on those pedals, or even be able to figure them out. and they don't have separate controls over the channels.

That's interesting, I love my HoF with dirt, think it sounds great. Different strokes I guess.
